How much does home staging cost?

All our staging packages are customised based on the furniture and accessories that are needed for your property along with other factors such as location, access and whether the property is vacant or occupied. Our full home staging packages start from $2,000. Partial home staging packages vary widely and are priced on an individual basis. Is home staging worth the investment?

Professional home staging is a proven way to improve the sale price of a property. Our stylists are skilled and experienced at enhancing your property's appeal and attracting interest from potential buyers. Real Estate Agents from all over the Waikato recommend our services to vendors as they know home staging delivers results and the return on the initial investment can be up to 10 times the initial cost.

How long is a staging campaign for?

We offer two options for our initial staging packages so you can choose the one that best suits the needs of your marketing campaign and budget. The duration of the initial packages we offer are for four weeks and six weeks. If for some reason the property does not sell in the time period of your initial package and you want to keep your property staged a little longer, we then offer a weekly rollover rate. This rate is  15-20% of the initial fee and is based on availability, however as we carry a large amount of inventory we can generally always fulfil a rollover request. We require one weeks’ notice to end the staging campaign.

How long does it take to stage a property?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the size of the property, location and access, staging will generally be completed within one day. Staging installations are usually completed one or two days before marketing photography is scheduled.

Question 5

Can I occupy my home if it is staged?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are happy to stage the home you are living in. We are happy to try and work with your existing furniture or we may suggest we remove your furniture and stage it with ours while you are living in the house. Additional cleaning charges may apply when a property we stage is occupied.

Question 6

What are our payment terms?

Accepted Answer

Payment is required in full before your staging installation date. If your property sells earlier than anticipated, get in touch and we'll come and collect the staging whenever it's most convenient for you. We don't give refunds for earlier collections.

Question 7

Where do our furniture and accessories come from?

Accepted Answer

The Furniture Creations warehouse is located in Hamilton and we own all the furniture, furnishings, and accessories we use. Our range is sourced from both wholesalers and retail stores.

Can I select specific furniture pieces you plan to use prior to installation?

Accepted Answer

We create a coordinated and cohesive design that complements your property's style and appeals to potential buyers in your target market. Given our experience as stylists, we kindly ask that you place your trust in our understanding of current trends, the market, and prospective clients, and let us handle the furniture selection and styling.
Furthermore, given the large number of properties we can stage at any one time, it's difficult to predict exactly what we'll have available on any given day because our inventory is always changing. However, please let us know about any specific items you'd want to see used from our website or Instagram page, and we'll try our best to incorporate them!

What if I don't like the pieces you've chosen?

Our stylists approach each stage with objective and strategic thinking and select pieces based on what is most appealing to your target market along with other factors such as space, layout, property style, and purpose. Although we sincerely hope you will trust our judgement and be pleased with the look we create, if there is something you really don't like, let us know and we will work with you to make sure it's right and you are happy with the overall result.
